Research Release 02 rebuilds every NFI board from completed MMA evidence
All 69 athlete files were checked; 42 meet current MMA ranking eligibility and 27 remain index-only.
Nebraska MMA re-audited every fighter profile for identity, completed MMA record, division, eligibility, recent activity, opponent history, title experience, affiliation, and database conflicts. Every ranked file now publishes the exact reasons for its placement and a scoped source ledger.
A searchable profile no longer creates an automatic MMA rank. Twenty-four Ring Rivals athletes without a completed MMA result, two professional-boxing profiles, and one inactive MMA profile remain in the Fighter Index without an MMA rank or NFI MMA OVR. Other-ruleset activity remains visible but separate.
The audit corrected divisions for Anthony Coursey, Camdyn Golden, Kooper Brandle, Dakota Brown, and Greggory Borch; added Doug Rainey’s May 2026 win; and removed an incorrect two-knockout claim from Keenan Schmidt’s file. Any future ranked profile must pass the same sourced research gate before publication.
